    Delivery Options

    A delivery cost estimate is provided on every product page. We have estimated your delivery area however you may need to adjust your post code on the product page for accurate delivery costs.

    You will see one or many of the below options:

    • Savvy Appliances Courier: Sydney Metro area only. You will be able to choose a delivery date and will be given a two hour timeframe during which the delivery will occor. A phone call will be made 30 minutes prior delivery
    • Door to Door Courier: Shipped via Allied or Toll. The courier company will call you 1 day prior delivery (but often don't provide a timeframe). Please coordinate directly with the courier company should the allocated delivery date not be suitable. Re-delivery charges will apply should you miss your delivery
    • Australia Post: for most small items, shipped via Australia Post who will attempt to deliver the item during business hours (Mon-Fri). You will have to collect your item from the post office should you miss the delivery
    • Same Day Courier: available for most in stock items. Place your order before 3pm and it will be delivered on the same day (Mon - Fri only). Any orders placed after 2pm will be delivered the next business day (Mon - Fri). Please note that your delivery time can be anywhere between 12pm and 8pm depending on courier avalability, items ordered and your location. We will call you to confirm the exact delivery time and will work with you should there be any problems regarding the given timeslot

     

    We deliver all items listed on our website Australia wide. All our deliveries are fully insured against any damage. If your delivery arrives with signs of damage do not accept the delivery & call our Customer Care Team ASAP.

    Returns policy

    Savvy Appliances is committed to customer satisfaction, & we want to ensure that your online shopping experience is quick & easy.

    If you receive an item that fails within the first 14 days, we will swap it free of charge and cover any delivery charges incurred. If your product is faulty please contact our Customer Care Team to be issued with a Return Authorisation & details on where to send your item.

    All products purchased come with a manufacturer’s warranty. Your Tax Invoice will serve as proof of purchase for any warranty claim. Warranty claims should be taken up directly with the manufacturer.

    Sydney Metro:
    Small Items (EG: MP3 Players, DVD Players): $9
    Large Items (EG: Washers, Fridges, Dryers): $45 INCLUDES FREE CONNECTION (*Please see exclusions)

    Regional & Interstate:
    Find the product within our website, & look for the icon of delivery truck –click it, & enter your postcode for a quick quote.
    Small Items are delivered via Australia Post Couriers.
    Large Items are delivered via Allied Express Couriers.
    *Unfortunately at present we can not offer Installation or take away of old appliances outside of the Sydney Metro area.

    Sydney Metro Installation

    We have a network of licensed installer within the Sydney Metro area. Installation cost includes delivery & take away of old appliance by licensed technician.

    Fridges, Dryers, Washing Machines: FREE CONNECTION -included in our delivery cost, our drivers will unpack & connect the unit only (connection will be carried out using existing fittings only).

    Due to OH&S safety requirements pickups are NOT permitted from our warehouse locations

    Sydney Metro Deliveries

    1. Large items - Deliveries will be made between Monday to Saturday (between 9am to 5pm) excluding Public Holidays. You will be contacted prior and given an approximate 2 hour delivery window. You can also request a courtesy call when the driver is close to your address.

      Not at home? - You will find a “Sorry we missed you” card with a contact number to call and organise another delivery time. Subsequent delivery attempts will attract another delivery charge.

    2. Small items – all items under 20kg will be delivered using Australia Post. These deliveries will need to be signed for, & may require ID to be presented. Australia Post deliver Monday to Friday during standard business hours.

      Not at home? – your item will be re-directed to the nearest Australia Post Office. A collection notice will be left in your letterbox or under your front door.

    Outside Sydney Metro

    1. Large items - Deliveries will be made between Monday to Friday (between 9am to 5pm) excluding Public Holidays. Our Customer Care Team will call you to advise when the item leaves our warehouse, and you will then receive a courtesy phone call from your local delivery prior to the delivery.

      Please note that for deliveries outside of the Sydney Metro area our couriers do not offer installation or 'take way old' services. In addition due to recent Insurance and OH&S requirements they will deliver items to your front doorstep only, and are not permitted enter a customers house.

      Not at home? - You will find a “Sorry we missed you” card with a contact number to call and organise another delivery time. Subsequent delivery attempts will attract another delivery charge.

    Sydney Metro – FREE Connection of Washing Machines, Dryers, Fridges

    Connection will be carried out using existing electricity, gas and/or water fittings only.

    In addition the area must have free and open access (unfortunately our technicians can not connect items in enclosed areas like cupboards. They are also unable to wall mount any units).

    This service does not include any modifications or additional carpentry.

    The following items are excluded & require a licensed installer:

    • Ice and Water Side-by-Side Fridges, Dishwashers are required to be connected to a water supply. We recommend you use a licensed plumber.
    • Upright Gas or Electric stoves, Ovens, Cooktops and Rangehoods require professional connection. We recommend you use a licensed electrician.
    • Air Conditioners will be delivered but not unpacked. The installer requires these units to remain boxed until installation.

    Take Away of Old Appliances

    This is currently only available to deliveries of large items (washer/fridges etc) within the Sydney Metro area, and incurrs a small additional charge of $11.

    We can only remove like for like items, e.g. if you order a washing machine we can remove your old washing machine for $11 but we will not remove your old fridge.

    Side by Side fridges will be charged $30 to remove.

    In order for a white good to be collected it must be emptied, disconnected and pulled away from the wall / from beneath the cupboard. Some old appliances have been in place for many years and may be difficult to remove. If this is the case we will need you written permission. All care is taken, but no responsibility is accepted for any damage incurred. We reserve the right to refuse the removal items that are unsafe, unhygienic or that may cause damage during removal.
